Ham And Cheese Strata Recipe
Ham and cheese strata is a cheesy ham and bread bake. Made with a bread slice base layered with cheese broccoli and ham, the strata is topped off with remaining bread slices. Smothered with an egg and cream cheese mix flavored with mustard, the ham and cheese strata is baked till set with an added cheese topping.
Ingredients
| 12 white bread slices | ||
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 10-ounce package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, well-drained | ||
| Ham | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 8-ounce package Cream Cheese, softened | ||
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Place six bread slices on bottom of 12x8-inch baking dish.
Cover with 1 cup cheddar cheese, broccoli, ham and remaining bread slices, cut in half diagonally.
Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Blend in milk and mustard; pour over bread.
Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350°, 45 to 50 minutes or until set.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
