Ingredients

 Frozen peas package1
 Boiling water1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), salted
 Cooked rice1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Mayonnaise3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Dill pickle1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Onion1 Teaspoon, grated
 Lettuce
 Swiss Cheese1 Cup (16 tbs), slivered
 Cooked ham1 Cup (16 tbs), slivered
 Tomato slices

Directions

Add peas to the boiling water; cover and cook until water boils again.
Stir in rice.
Cover, remove from heat, and let stand 10 minutes.
With a fork, mix in mayonnaise, dill pickle, and grated onion.
Chill thoroughly.
At serving time, arrange in 4 to 6 individual casseroles edged with crisp lettuce, or pile into a lettuce-lined bowl.
Top salads with slivers of Swiss cheese and ham.
Garnish with tomato slices.
Offer additional mayonnaise.
