Ham And Cheese Calzones Recipe
|Frozen bread dough||1 Pound, thawed|
|Marinara sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs), bottled|
|Low sodium tomato paste||2 Tablespoon|
|Slivered basil/1 teaspoon dried basil||1 Tablespoon|
|Slivered boneless cooked ham||4 Ounce (1 Cup)|
|Shredded pasteurized processed skim milk cheese||6 Ounce (Product For Mozzarella Lovers, 1 1/2 Cup)|
|Cooked small broccoli florets||1 Cup (16 tbs), drained|
|Finely chopped red onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

Spray 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
On a lightly floured surface, cut the dough into 6 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into a 6-inch circle.
In a small bowl, blend the marinara sauce with the tomato paste and basil.
Leaving a 1/2-inch border, spread the sauce over half of each dough circle.
Then sprinkle with the ham, cheese and vegetables.
Moisten the edges of the dough with a little water, fold the dough over filling and seal with a fork.
Place on the baking sheets.
Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes.
