Ingredients

 Cooked Ham - 2 cups, 3/4-inch dices
 Rich Cream Sauce - 1 medium packet
 Cornflakes2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Green Onions - 2 nos of 5-inch length, 1-inch slices
 Prepared mustard1 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Frozen, Cut Asparagus - 2 packets, cooked, drained
 Sliced Processed American OR Pimiento Cheese - halved

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350F.

MAKING
2) Into the blender, add in 1/2 cup of cornflakes. With the Puree blade, pulse 3 to 4 times till the flakes are coarsely chopped.
3) Empty the blender. Add in the cooked ham next. Coarsely chop the meat similarly.
4) Empty the blender once more. This time add in 1/2 cup of rich cream sauce, onion, mustard, salt and pepper. With the Stir blade, finely chop the onions in 3 to 4 seconds.
5) Transfer the sauce to a bowl. Add in the chopped ham. Mix well.
6) Butter a 2-quart shallow, oblong baking dish. Sprinkle half the amount of cornflakes over the dish.
7) Arrange 1/2 the amount of asparagus over the flakes. Pour half the quantity of sauce over the asparagus. Arrange half the amount of cheese slices over the sauce.
8) Repeat the layers of asparagus, sauce and cheese slices. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top.
9) Bake for about 30 minutes till the top turns hot and bubby.

SERVING
10) Serve the Ham And Asparagus Au Gratin hot from the oven. Sprinkle the top with chilli flakes, if desired.
