Halloween Monster Muffins Recipe
Halloween monster muffins as just what they sound-party muffins for halloween! These gorgeous spicy muffins flavored with cinnmaon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger are great for kids and adults alike. You can serve them just like that or with the accompanying pumpkin dip .
Ingredients
11/2 cups all-purpose flour 375 mL
2 tsp baking powder 10 mL
1/2 tsp salt 2mL
l tsp cinnamon 5mL
1/2 tsp ground ginger 2mL
1/4 tsp ground cloves lmL
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg lmL
1/2 cup packed brown sugar 125 mL
1/2 cup raisins (optional) 125 mL
1 egg
1/2 cup milk 125 mL
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree 125 mL
1/4 cup vegetable oil 50 mL
Directions
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and brown sugar.
Mix in raisins, if using.
Make a well in the center.
In a smaller bowl, beat together egg, milk, pumpkin and oil.
Pour into flour mixture and stir just until moistened.
The batter will be lumpy.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin.
Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
Decorate with vanilla or cream-cheese frosting or whipping cream.
Use raisins, chipits, smarties, carrot or green bell pepper pieces, nuts, or what- ever else you have on hand to make all kinds of scary monster faces on your muffin tops.

Hey I loved the muffin recipe and have made these many a times but I was looking for directions on how to decorate the muffins. Wish you could have given illustrations or tips on how to decorate. Need simple things coz I haven't got good decorating skills.
