Ingredients
4 fresh or frozen halibut steaks cut 1 1/4 inches thick (about 2 pounds)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon or 2 teaspoons dried tarragon, crushed
4 teaspoons snipped chives
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Thaw fish, if frozen.
Combine tarragon, chives, oil, and salt.
Brush mixture onto both sides of halibut steaks.
Arrange fish in a shallow pan.
Cover; refrigerate 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Lightly grease cooking grill.
Remove fish from pan and place on the cooking grill.
Grill 10 to 12 minutes or till fish flakes when tested with a fork, turning once halfway through grilling time
