2 pounds halibut fillets, 1 inch thick
 
2 cups (1 pint) commercial sour cream
 
5 tablespoons chopped green onion
 
5 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper
 
4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) chopped dill pickle
 
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
 
2 tablespoons lemon juice
 
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
 
1/2 teaspoon basil
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Arrange the halibut fillets in an 8 by 12-inch baking pan.
Mix together sour cream, green onion, green pepper, dill pickle, parsley, lemon juice, mustard, basil, salt, and pepper; pour sauce over fish.
Bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 30 minutes, or until fish flakes with a fork.
