Halibut In Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| Halibut | 1 pound, frozen | |
| Dry white wine | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1/2 , sliced | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Snipped parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dried basil leaves | 1/4 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Cherry tomatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs), halved |
Directions
Thaw frozen fish.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place in shallow dish; add wine.
Let stand 30 minutes; turn once.
In medium skillet cook onion and celery in butter till tender.(Electric skillet 300°.)
Stir in parsley, Worcestershire, and basil.
Add fish and wine.
Cover; reduce heat (220°); cook 10 minutes.
Add tomatoes.
Cover and cook till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, 3 or 4 minutes more
