Halibut Hawaiian Recipe
Ingredients
2 packages (12 ounces each) frozen Halibut steaks, defrosted
1 cup Sweet Sour sauce, below
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1 can (8 ounces) pineapple rings, drained
Tomato wedges
Parsley sprigs
Directions
Cut Halibut in serving pieces.
Arrange in (8 x 8-inch) baking dish.
Set aside.
Prepare Sweet-Sour Sauce, using juice from crushed pineapple and pineapple rings.
Reserve 1/2 cup sauce.
Combine remaining 1/2 cup Sweet-Sour Sauce, crushed pineapple, bread crumbs, lemon juice and curry powder.
Spread mixture on Halibut.
Pour reserved sauce evenly over top.
Cover with plastic wrap.
MICROWAVE 15 to 18 MINUTES on 8 or until fish flakes easily.
Garnish each serving with 1 pineapple ring.
Place tomato wedge and parsley sprig in center of ring.
For ovens without solid state heat control, MICROWAVE 12 to 15 MINUTES on HIGH.
