Halibut Au Gratin Recipe

This Halibut Au Gratin recipe is simply wonderful. I served this dish for a get together with my friends at home. They loved it and was surprised by how easily this delicious dish was prepared. Try it out!

Ingredients

 
2 lb (900 g) halibut, cut into pieces
 
1/2 Cup (125 ml) chicken broth
 
2 tbsp (30 ml) parsley
 
1 tsp (5 ml) tarragon
 
1/2 Cup (125 ml) grated Cheddar cheese
 
1 egg white, beaten until stiff

Directions

–  Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).
–  In a baking dish, place halibut pieces, add chicken stock, sprinkle with parsley and tarragon and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, pour off excess liquid and set aside.
–  Heat the broiler.
–  In a bowl, add cheese to beaten egg white, spread over halibut pieces and broil au gratin.
