 1 small onion, cut in wedges

 4 celery pieces, 2 inch long
 Bay Leaf1
 2 lbs. frozen haddock or cod, partially thawed
 Melted butter1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Paprika for garnish
 Lemon Pasta dough cut in noodles, cooked, drained
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Dried dill weed for garnish
 Butter1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Lemon-Butter Sauce:)
 Lemon juice1/4 Cup (16 tbs), squeezed (Lemon-Butter Sauce:)
 Minced parsley2 Tablespoon (Lemon-Butter Sauce:)

Directions

Prepare Lemon-Butter Sauce; set aside.
In a medium saucepan, bring water, salt, peppercorns, onion, lemon, celery and bay leaf to a boil.
Cut partially thawed haddock or cod into small pieces.
Carefully place fish into boiling water mixture.
Bring back to a boil.
Simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
Carefully remove fish from hot water with a slotted spoon.
Place fish on greased broiler pan; brush with melted butter.
Broil 4 inches from heat, about 3 minutes.
Place broiled fish on a warm serving platter.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Place hot cooked lemon noodles in a serving dish.
Toss noodles with 2 tablespoons butter.
Sprinkle with dill weed for garnish.
Serve haddock with Lemon-Butter Sauce.
Makes 6 servings.
