Haddock Surprise Recipe
Haddock is a tasty fish. One of my all time favorites. This haddock surprise is one that I absolutely love. Tasty and healthy this fish dish is a real treat for the senses. I just love every bite of this delicately flavored fish treat
Ingredients
| Haddock fillets | 11/2 Pound | |
| 1 c. saltine cracker crumbs | ||
| Butter | ||
| 1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced in rings | ||
| American Cheese | 4 Ounce, sliced | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Alternate layers of haddock and 1/2 cup crumbs in buttered casserole; dot with butter.
Add salt, pepper, green pepper rings and cheese slices.
Sprinkle remain- ing crumbs on top.
Dot with additional butter; sprin- kle with additional salt and pepper.
Pour milk into casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
