| 12 gull eggs or 1 bunch watercress | ||
| Quail eggs | 18 | |
| 1 bunch red radishes | ||
| White bread, black | ||
| Swedish bread, butter | ||
Directions
If the eggs have been bought uncooked, plunge them into cold water.
Should any float, discard as not fresh.
Put the eggs into a saucepan of cold water, bring to the boil and cook for 8-9 minutes.
Run cold water over them.
Drain.
Store in refrigerator until used.
Wash and clean the radishes and remove leaves.
Place eggs and radishes on a bed of watercress.
Butter thin slices of white bread and black Swedish bread.
Stick them together and cut into 1 1/2-inch strips to serve with the eggs.
