Guava Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
| 500 grams ripe guavas | ||
| Sugar | 500 Gram | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 25 grains mixed nuts like almonds, pistachios and charoli | ||
| Juice of 1 lime | ||
Directions
Peel guavas and dice them.
Mix in lime juice and place them over a slow fire.
Cover tightly and cook without adding water till the guavas turn very soft.
Remove from fire, mash to a paste and pass through a fine sieve and discard all the seeds.
Put 2 cups water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one-thread consistency.
Put in the rest of the ingredients and keep on cooking till the mixture can not be moved with the spoon.
Remove from fire and put in a shallow greased thali.
Level the surface, cool nicely and cut into small pieces.
Wrap each piece in butter paper and store in airtight container.
