Easy Guacamole Recipe Video
Classic and easy this avocado dip goes well with chips of course, but it
also makes a great sandwich filling.

Ingredients
3-4 medium ripe haas avocados
juice from 1 lime
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
medium tomato, diced and squeezed to remove excess water and seeds
Directions
Cut avocados down the middle and twist to separate into halves, Remove pit and reserve
remove flesh to a medium bowl. Add lime juice and salt and use a fork to coarsely mash the avoaodo.
Add cilantro and stir to combine. Place a reserved pit or two on top of guacamole and cover with
plastic wrap. Refrigerate for about an hour. Remove pit before serving and garnish with a sprig of
cilantro if desired.

yes avocados have heart healthy fats - we need fat to live!!!
But, moderation is key because most of us (unless you are extremely active) need to be conscious of our daily caloric intake - and as fruits go, avocados are fairly high in calories - about 350 calories per avocado, but they are packed with vitamin A, E, C and more potassium than a banana. While they contain about 30 grams of fat, most of it is from the healthy mono-unsaturated fats (about 20 grams)
