Spiced Guacamole Recipe
Ingredients
4 very ripe avocados, chopped
1 small tomato, coarsely chopped
2 scallions, root and 1 inch of green part trimmed and discarded, remainder chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
1/4-1/3 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 jalapeno pepper, finely minced
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
Do not overmix; it should be somewhat chunky.
To store the guacamole, cover and refrigerate, keeping a few avocado pits in the finished dip to prevent discoloration.
