Gruyere Apple Spread Recipe
Ingredients
| Package cream cheese | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Shredded monterey jack cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Prepared mustard | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Apple | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Pecans | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Snipped chives | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Assorted crackers | ||
Directions
In small mixer bowl combine cream cheese and gruyere or monterey jack cheese; bring to room temperature.
Add milk and prepared mustard; beat with electric mixer till blended.
Stir in apple, pecans, and chives.
Turn into serving bowl and cover; chill for 1 hour.
If desired, garnish spread with additional snipped chives.
