Ground Turkey Balls Recipe

Ingredients
2 2 1/2 inch thick slices dry Italian bread
3/4 pound ground raw turkey
1/4 pound sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
1 egg and 1 egg white
2 3/4 tablespoons shredded Gruyere cheese
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
Few dashes nutmeg
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Soak bread in water to cover for 5 minutes; squeeze very dry and crumble into bowl with turkey, sausage, eggs, Gruyere, parsley, nutmeg and pepper.
Shape mixture into 10 balls, using about 1/4 cup mixture for each ball.
Arrange on rack in jelly roll pan or roasting pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until meat balls are brown and slightly crispy; cool.
Arrange in single layer and freeze in shallow freezer container.
