Ingredients
Butter - 3 tablespoons
Onions- 3/4 cup, chopped
Lamb- 1 1/2 pounds, ground, lean
Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Turmeric - 3/4 teaspoon
Coriander - 1 1/2 teaspoons, ground
Chili peppers - 1/4 teaspoon, dried ground
Yoghurt- 1/4 cup
Green peas - 1 cup (fresh or frozen), shelled
Water - 1/4 cup
Directions
MAKING
1) In a skillet, saute the onions in the butter, until browned.
2) Stir in the ground lamb, salt, turmeric, coriander and chili peppers, cook over a medium heat, stirring frequently, until browned.
4) Stir in the yoghurt, then cover and cook over a low heat for 10 minutes.
5) Stir in the green peas and water, cover and cook for 15 minutes.
6) Taste and adjust the seasoning, if required.
SERVING
7) Serve immediately on individual serving plates.
