Ground Cherry Pie Recipe

| 1 9-inch BASIC ROLLED PIE CRUST prepared in advance but not baked | ||
| Cherries | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Honey | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), warmed | |
| Whole wheat pastry flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 42.5° F Put ground-cherries into unbaked pie shell.
Beat eggs, add salt, honey, flour, milk, and vanilla.
Pour over cherries and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° F. and bake for about 30 minutes longer, until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
