Ground Beef Medle Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium finely chopped onion
1 small finely-chopped green pepper
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 cup tomato juice
1 (1 lb) can whole corn, drained
1 cup water
1/2 cup catsup or tomato paste
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 envelope onion soup mix
Directions
In collander in 3 qt glass casserole, microwave (high) ground beef, onion and green pepper 4-6 minutes, stirring twice.
Pour off drippings.
Blend with macaroni, tomato juice, corn, water, catsup, chili powder, salt and pepper.
Microwave (high) covered, 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
Sprinkle top with soup mix.
Microwave (high), covered, 6-8 minutes.
Rest, covered, 5-10 minutes.
