Ground Beef Cordon Bleu Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Swiss Cheese slice | 2 | |
| Garlic salt | 1 To taste | |
| Dry basil | ||
| 4 hamburger buns, split and buttered | ||
| Sour cream | ||
Directions
Divide meat into 8 equal portions and shape into very thin patties about 1/4 inch thick.
On 4 pat ties, place a half slice of swiss cheese, folding in corners so there is a border of meat all around.
Sprinkle with a little garlic salt and a pinch of basil, then place a second patty on top and press edges to seal.
Place patties on lightly greased grill 4 to 6 inches above a solid bed of glowing coals.
Cook, turning once, for 3 to 4 minutes on each side for rare.
When you turn patties, place buns, cut-side-down, around outside of grill to toast.
