Gringo Burritos Recipe
First of all let me thank my neighbor for sharing this excellent Gringo Burritos recipe. I tried this recipe for Gringo Burritos the other day and was totally bowled over. The marriage of the amazing flavors of Beef with other ingredients is the secret to this Gringo Burritos. This is the most comforting Side Dish recipe I have come across. Try this Gringo Burritos once and only once! Your loyalty to it forever is guaranteed!
Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup picante sauce
2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 soup can water
1 dozen flour tortillas
8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Directions
Brown the ground beef with the onion in a skillet, stirring until beef is crumbly; drain.
Remove from heat.
Add the picante sauce, soup and water; mix well.
Spread a thin layer of the beef mixture in a 9xl3 baking pan.
Place 1/4 cup filling in the center of each tortilla; roll to enclose.
Arrange the filled tortillas in the baking pan.
Cover with any remaining beef mixture.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
