Grilled Soft-Shell Crabs Recipe

1 cup vegetable oil
 
2 tablespoons vinegar
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
 
1 teaspoon lemon juice
 
1/4 teaspoon dried whole tarragon
 
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
 
12 dressed soft-shell crabs

Directions

Combine all ingredients except crabs, stirring until blended.
Cover and refrigerate sauce at least 8 hours.
Position crabs securely, back side down, in a wire grilling basket.
Grill over hot coals 10 minutes, basting frequently with sauce.
Turn crabs, and grill an additional 5 minutes or until desired degree of doneness.
Baste frequently with remaining sauce.
