Grilled Portabella Onion Burgers Recipe Video
Portabella mushrooms are surprisingly hearty and satisfying. You might not think that a mushroom would have enough sticking power to cut it as a meal, but I must say, the Portabella mushrooms certainly do. These burgers are a nice change from your everyday meaty burgers, and I find that they do a great job at satisfying both my vegetarian and meat-eating friends!

Yeah, it was kinda late. Speaking of mushroom burgers, there is a restaurant by the name Plutos close to our place in Plao Alto. They have the best mushroom burgers. Not sure if you have tried them.

It was late when you posted, I knew you knew portobellos were mushrooms as they are even at Costco!
I like using them in pasta sauce in place of meat-just saute them with red wine for a "beefy" flavour.

Portobellas are mushrooms. We often grill portobellos that we dizzle EVOO and grilic on, sometimes we toss some chiles on top. Then we cut them into wedges and serve as appetizers. Yummy.
