Rub the toasted side of 4 slices lightly with cut side of garlic clove.
Top each of these 4 slices with a slice of Mozzarella cheese.
Spread each slice of cheese with 2 tsp of the tomato paste, sprinkle with 1/8 tsp of oregano and 2 tsp of Parmesan cheese.
Lay remaining slices of bread on top, toasted side in middle.
Butter outside of sandwiches thickly.
Grill sandwiches slowly in heavy skillet or on electric grill until golden on both sides and cheese is very soft.
Cut in quarters and serve immediately with sweet pickles.
