Grilled Nectarines With Strawberry Puree Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 ounces frozen strawberries, slightly thawed | ||
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon, firmly packed | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Nectarines | 2 Large, halved | |
Directions
Place strawberries and lemon juice in a blender or food processor and puree.
Strain, cover, and chill.
Cut a 16-inch square of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Place nectarine halves on foil, hollow side up.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over nectarines.
Seal foil over nectarines.
Grill on rack over medium heat for 15 minutes.
Remove nectarines from foil and place on small plates.
Spoon cold strawberry puree over each nectarine half.
Strain, cover, and chill.
