Grilled Grapefruit with Kirsch Recipe
Ingredients
4 grapefruit, halved
1 cup sugar
1 cup kirsch
Directions
Cut out centers and remove seeds from each grapefruit half.
Cut around each section with grapefruit knife, to loosen.
Sprinkle each half with 2 tablespoons sugar, then with 2 tablespoons kirsch.
Broil, 4 inches from heat, about 5 minutes, or until bubbly and brown.
Garnish with maraschino cherries and mint sprigs, if desired.
Makes 8 servings.
