Grilled Asparagus Wrapped in Prosciutto Recipe
Ingredients
| Asparagus spears | 2 Pound, washed and snap off woody ends | |
| Sliced prosciutto/Applewood smoked bacon | 1⁄2 Pound | |
| Lemons | 2 , zested and cut in half | |
| Extra virgin olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste | |
| Bamboo skewers | 6 , soaked in water for 30 minutes |

Directions
Drizzle or spray olive oil over the skewered asparagus. Freshly grind pepper over the spears. I like using roasted garlic olive oil.
When your grill is hot proceed to grill these tasty spears.
Place lemons cut side down on top of the grill and lightly grill.
Cook asparagus until tender and prosciutto crisps, about 3-5 minutes per side. Cook lemon halves until lightly browned, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove asparagus from the grill when cooked and squeeze with lemon juice and top with lemon zest.
This makes a wonderful appetizer or side dish.
