Grilled Apple Pecan Cups Recipe
Ingredients
2 small baking apples
1/4 c clover honey
2 T pecans, chopped
1 T brown sugar nonfat cooking spray
Directions
Peel, core and cut the apples in half crosswise.
Inside the "cup" of each half, place a tablespoon of honey.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of the chopped pecans into each "cup" of honey and dust the apples with the brown sugar.
Coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
Place the apples in the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until tender and warm.
Watch carefully as the apples grill to avoid burning.
Top with frozen lowfat vanilla yogurt or nonfat whipped topping, if desired.
