Grilled Turkey Recipe
Ingredients
| Turkey | 1 Pound, pounded | |
| 3 tsp. vegetable, oil | ||
| 1 onion, large | ||
| Celery stalks | ||
| Orange | 1 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tsp. dried herbs - thyme, sage, rosemary | ||
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 disposable aluminum pan | ||
Directions
Preheat gas grill to medium high heat.
Remove neck and giblets from turkey then rinse the turkey in and out and pat dry with paper towels.
Place turkey breast side up in the large pan.
Stuff turkey with 1 cup cut up orange, celery stalks and large peeled onion.
Rub outside of turkey with oil and sprinkle with the herbs, salt and pepper.
Place aluminum pan on grill and add water to bottom of pan to prevent burning.
Keeping grill lid closed, grill the turkey for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat thermometer reaches 180 degrees.
Add more water if needed during the grilling process.
Remove turkey from grill and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes before carving.
