1)Apply butter to toasted bread.
2)Arrange tomatoes slightly overlapping the slices on the toast.
3)Sprinkle with dry mustard, hot pepper and dill.
4)Arrange the thin onion rings on top.
5) Place under a broiler to brown.
6)Top with cheese and breadcrumbs and return to the oven to gratinate.
7)Serve hot, with soup or by itself.
