Grilled Steak With Hot Sweet Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 large onions, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices | ||
| Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 beef loin T-bone or porterhouse steaks, cut 1 inch thick (8 ounces each) | ||
Directions
Arrange sliced onions on large square of heavy-duty foil.
In small bowl, combine honey and mustard; drizzle over onions.
Sprinkle with salt, paprika and pepper.
Fold foil loosely around onions and seal edges tightly.
Grill packet, on covered grill, over medium-hot with Mesquite charcoal briquets 20 minutes or until onions are tender; turn once.
Slash any fat around edge of steaks every 4 inches.
About 5 minutes after onions start to grill, place steaks on grill with onion packet.
Grill 8 to 10 minutes on each side for medium-rare or to desired doneness.
