Ingredients

 Sausage links1 pound
 1/4 cup apple jelly, melted
 1/2 teaspoon orange or lemon juice
 Dash allspice
 Dash nutmeg
 1 large sweet potato, cut crosswise into 3/4-inch slices
 1 large apple, cored, cut into 8 wedges
 Butter/Margarine1 Tablespoon, melted

Directions

Combine jelly, orange juice, allspice and nutmeg.
Parboil sweet potatoes in boiling water 7 minutes; drain.
Thread sweet potato slices and apple wedges on four 12-inch skewers.
Brush lightly with butter.
Place sausages on grid over low to medium coals.
Grill 5 minutes.
Place kabobs on grid and brush sausage and kabobs with apple jelly mixture.
Grill 10 minutes, turning and brushing with jelly mixture after 5 minutes.
Internal temperature of sausage should register 170°F
