3 medium-sized red peppers, thinly sliced
 
3 medium-sized green peppers, thinly sliced
 
1 tablespoon salad oil
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1 teaspoon basil
 
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Directions

1. Prepare outdoor grill for barbecuing.
2. Meanwhile, on double thickness of heavy-duty foil, mix all ingredients. Wrap pepper mixture in foil, being careful that seam of foil is folded several times to seal in juices.
3. Place foil packet on grill over medium heat; cook 30 minutes, turning packet occasionally with tongs, until peppers are tender-crisp.
