Grilled Pork Or Beef Appetizers A La Geimer Recipe
Ingredients
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| 2 dashes hot red pepper sauce | ||
| Dash of ground cloves | ||
| 1 pound lean pork tenderloin or beef sirloin, cut into bite-size thin strips | ||
| 1 small fresh pineapple, peeled and cut in bite-size chunks | ||
| Green pepper | 1 Medium, cleaned | |
Directions
Combine first 7 ingredients in bowl; mix.
Add meat; mix.
Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours, stirring 2 or 3 times.
Drain meat, reserving marinade.
String meat, pineapple and green pepper on heavy bamboo skewers.
Arrange on cooking grill over drip pan; cover kettle and cook 5 to 10 minutes for beef and 10 to 15 minutes for pork, or until meat is done, basting with marinade during cooking.
Turn 2 or 3 times.
Protect hand with asbestos glove before turning kabobs.
