Grilled Pesto Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup softened cream cheese 50 ml
2 tsp pesto sauce 10 ml
6 large flat mushrooms, such as portobello 6
2 Tb vegetable oil 25 ml
Directions
In small bowl, combine cream cheese and pesto until smooth and creamy; set aside.
Carefully remove stalks from mushrooms by laying mushrooms flat on work surface and gently working stalks back and forth until they snap off (reserve stalks for use in another recipe, such as a stock or stir fry).
Remove peel from mushroom caps.
Brush mushroom caps on both sides with oil.
Place stalk side down on barbecue grill; grill over medium high heat 3 minutes; turn carefully with spatula.
Divide cream cheese mixture among mushrooms.
Grill 3 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
