Grilled Parmesan Tomatoes Recipe
Grilled parmesan tomatoes is a cheesy tomatoes recipe. Prepared with a hint of garlic along with parsley for flavor, the ripe tomatoes are grilled or broiled to cook and served fresh as a side.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 medium size ripe tomatoes , cored and sliced 1/2 inch thick
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons minced parsley
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat the broiler.
Grease a baking sheet with 1 teaspoon of the olive oil.
Arrange the tomato slices on it in a single layer.
In a small bowl, mix together the remaining olive oil, garlic, parsley, and pepper.
Drizzle the mixture over the tomatoes and sprinkle with the cheese.
Broil 5 inches from the heat for 3 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
