Grilled Morgherita Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Olive oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano leaves | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Pizza crust package | 1 | |
| 2 plum (Roma) tomatoes, thinly sliced | ||
| 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh basil leaves | ||
| Italian cheese blend | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the gas or charcoal grill
MAKING
2. In a small bowl, mix the garlic, oil and oregano well.
3. Brush this mix over the pizza crust
4. Top the pizza crust with the tomatoes, basil, and cheese
5. Place the pizza crust on the grill. Cover the grill and cook on medium-low heat for 7-9 minutes
6. Move the pizza around every 2 minutes to prevent it from burning
7. When the cheese is melted, remove the pizza from the grill and set aside
8. When cool, cut into 36 squares
SERVING
9. Serve hot immediately
