Grilled Ham Cheese And Waffle Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| SANDWICH | ||
| Cooked ham | 4 Ounce, sliced | |
| American Cheese slice | 4 | |
| 8 frozen waffles | ||
| Butter margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| 1 cup chunky applesauce | ||
| Maple syrup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), flavored (TOPPING) | |
| Cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon (TOPPING) | |
Directions
Heat large skillet over medium high heat or griddle to 400°F.
Place 1/4 of the ham and 1 slice of cheese on each of 4 waffles.
Top each with remaining waffle.
Spread margarine on top and bottom of each sandwich.
Place in hot skillet.
Cook 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and waffles are crisp, turning once halfway through cooking.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan combine all topping ingredients; mix well.
Cook over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes or until warm, stirring occasionally.
