Grilled Fish Steaks With Vegetable Butter Recipe
Grilled fish steaks with vegetable butter is a flavorful seafish recipe. Marinated with orange juice for flavor, the fish steaks are grilled cooked to finish. Served with a prepared blended and chilled slice of vegetable juice with butter and brandy flavored with a hint of ginger, it is moist and delicious.
Ingredients
1 envelope Vegetable Recipe Soup Mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons brandy or sherry
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
4 halibut, cod, swordfish or salmon steaks 1/2 inch thick
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup oil
Directions
In medium bowl, with electric mixer or rotary beater, thoroughly blend vegetable recipe soup mix, butter,brandy and ginger.
Turn onto wax paper and shape into 8x2-inch log.
Wrap in plastic wrap or wax paper, then chill until firm.
Meanwhile, in large baking dish, arrange fish; add orange juice and oil.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, at least 1 hour.
Remove fish from marinade.
Grill or broil until fish flakes.
To serve, top each steak with 1/2-inch slice butter mixture.
