Grilled Cheese-Indian Style Recipe Video
Grilled cheese is my ultimate comfort food, and I make a lot of different versions of it. This is my Desi style grilled cheese. I like cutting it up into tiny triangles and stacking it up on a pretty platter for an easy hors d'oeuvre.

Ingredients
For the filling:
1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar, jack, swiss, fontina etc)
1/4 of an onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 skinny green chilly finely chopped (Seeds and all!)OR
1/2 tsp red chilli powder/cayenne pepper
1/2 green bell pepper- finely chopped
A handful of cilantro finely chopped
1 tsp of mayo
1 tsp of dhania chutney - (optional)
1 tsp of mustard-Dijon or whole grain (optional)
1 tsp of Horseradish cream (Optional)
Salt to taste
Pepper (As many grinds as you like)
4 slices of whole grain bread
Directions
Combine all the ingredients for the filling together in a large bowl.
Spoon the filling onto the sliced bread.
Heat a grill pan and melt a little butter on it.
Once the grill pan/Panini pan heats up, grill the sandwiches for a few minutes, until you get nice grill marks on either side.
Take the sandwiches off the grill, and cut them into triangles.
