Grilled Bread With Italian Herbs Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dried oregano | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary or 1/2 teaspoon dried | ||
| 12 slices of Italian or French bread, cut 1 1/2 inches thick | ||
Directions
1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil with oregano and rosemary. Beat with a fork to blend.
2. Prepare a medium fire in a grill, or use an existing fire. When coals are ashen, brush both sides of bread with herb oil and place along outer edges of cooking grid. Grill, turning once, 5 to 7 minutes, or until bread is lightly toasted and marked from the grill.
