Grilled Bananas Recipe

Ingredients
1 medium-sized lemon
1/4 cup light corn syrup
4 firm, ripe bananas
Directions
1. Prepare outdoor grill for barbecuing.
2. Meanwhile, grate peel from lemon; squeeze 2 tablespoons juice. In small bowl, mix lemon peel, lemon juice, and corn syrup; set aside. Remove half of peel from each banana in lengthwise strips. Carefully cut bananas crosswise into bite-sized chunks, being careful not to cut through remaining peel.
3. Place bananas, peel side down, in 13" by 9" disposable aluminum pan. Place pan on grill over medium heat; cook 10 to 15 minutes, brushing frequently with lemon-juice mixture, until bananas are heated through.
