Grilled And Glazed Game Hens Recipe
Ingredients
| Sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry sherry | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted | ||
| 4 Cornish game hens | ||
Directions
In saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, sherry and juice concentrate.
Bring to boil; simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from heat; cool.
Remove giblets from hens.
Remove fatty portion from neck and tail area of hens.
Rinse hens under cold running water.
Pat cavities dry with paper toweling; brush with sauce.
Grill hens, on covered grill, over medium-hot briquets 40 to 50 minutes or until thigh moves easily and juices run clear, turning once.
Baste with sauce during last 10 minutes of grilling.
Remove from grill; brush generously with additional sauce.
