Griddle Or Dropped Scones Recipe
Ingredients
| Unsifted all-purpose flour - 4 cups | ||
| Each of baking soda - 2 teaspoons | ||
| Cream of tartar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Buttermilk | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.
2 In a bowl, beat the eggs well and add the buttermilk to it.
3 Mix with the dry ingredients and form a soft batter.
4 Grease a griddle and drop mixture on by the tablespoonful.
5 Turn when browned from one side.
6 To keep warm, wrap in a clean towel.
SERVING
7 Serve warm.
