Green Tomato Relish Recipe
Ingredients

| Cabbage | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green peppers | 12 To taste | |
| Red peppers | 6 To taste | |
| Salt | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 6 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green tomatoes | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery seed | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Mustard seed | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Turmeric | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Vinegar | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pickling salt | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Sprinkle vegetables with salt; let stand overnight.
Drain; rinse with cold water.
Combine remaining ingredients and 2 cups water; bring to a boil.
Add vegetables; bring to a boil.
Stir well; do not simmer longer than 2 minutes.
Seal in sterilized jars.
Yield: 8 pints.
