Ingredients

 5 cucumbers (5 in. each), thinly sliced
 Green tomatoes1 1/2 Pound, thinly sliced
 Green peppers4 Medium, chopped
 Sweet red pepper1 Medium, chopped
 Cider vinegar3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Tablespoon
 Celery seed1 Tablespoon
 Mustard seed1 Tablespoon

Directions

Prepare the vegetables and set aside.
Combine vinegar with remaining ingredients in a heavy saucepot.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to boiling.
Add vegetables, reduce heat, and simmer about 10 minutes.
Continue simmering while ladling the pickles into hot sterilized jars' to within 1/8 inch of top.
Fill and complete one jar at a time.
(Be sure the vinegar solution covers the vegetables.)
