Green Pepper Soup (Shashank) Recipe
Ingredients
10 Green peppers (capsicum) medium sized, seeds
removed and coarsely chopped.
1 Pint heavy cream
1 Onion chopped fine
2 Chicken soup cubes (Maggi or Bouillon)
1 Cup white wine
Water to cover
' Roux
Directions
Mix all the ingredients (except cream), together in a pot and cover with enough water to cover ingredients.
Boil till peppers are soft.
Remove from fire and grind in liquidiser Put back in pot and add cream.
Add Roux.
boil for a minute and serve * Roux :- Ble+9nd 2 parts of butter to one part of flour by volume.
Cook to desired consistency, whipping it all through.
Roux can be made and kept for ready use.
