Directions

Melt butter in a 1 quart saucepan.
Add green pepper.
Saute until pepper is golden.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk.
Stir constantly over medium heat until sauce thickens.
Reduce heat.
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Makes about 2 cups.
